Virtual Classes Information

Namasthe!

My Twin and I are planning to start virtual Music classes very soon hopefully on Skype or Google Hangout! We are hoping the virtual classes will cater to the needs of an extended audience.

The Virtual classes will be held 4 thursdays in a month. If there is a fifth thursday (extra) in a month, it could be used as a meet & greet class at my residence at Danville. 2 thursdays would be for Light Music and 2 thursdays would be for Carnatic Music. Students can choose to attend all classes ( Light Music + Carnatic Music + Meet & Greet) or choose between Light Music and Carnatic Music sessions. The class schedule for every month will be provided at the beginning of each month. Each class is a half an hour session. We are thinking of a time schedule of 710 - 740 PM or depending on the majority of the students' convenience. After each class, a recorded audio of the new lesson taught that day will be texted/emailed based on ur preference. Also, the lyrics will be available on this blog. In the Carnatic Music session, you will be start from Sarali swaraalu and head up the ladder. In the Light Music session, you will learn various folk songs, bhajans, patriotic songs, festival songs, songs on various Hindu gods, mostly in Sanskrit with some lessons in Telugu and Hindi.

Virtual classes, as like any class will require effort from the student's side like constant practice, regular attendance, and a zeal to learn to master the art. At this time, we would request students  meet the age limit of atleast 5 years or above. Also, it would be a good idea for younger students to be accompanied online by their parent/guardian to help them accustom to the virtual classes and technology atleast for a while.

If you are interested, Please drop us an email/message with your child's name, age, which session you are interested in(All/Carnatic Music/Light Music), and your convenient time if given a choice. We are looking at using either Skype or Google Hangout and will let the word out once we successfully establish the system.

Thanks for all your support!
